The hotel was a 5 star luxury hotel occupying a prime location on the Taba Heights Resort in Egypt. The resort spreads out along 5km of coastline and the hotel is set in 368 hectares of landscaped gardens and lagoons.
The Padi dive centre is just five minutes bus ride away and is called Red Sea Waterworld which is part of the Red sea Diving College in Sharm El Sheikh.
The Centre is purpose built 5 star watersports and diving centre and beach club. They provide exceptional service and alway on hand to help.
Diving in Taba
Most of the diving is done from boats, which usually consists of two dives with an optional one in the afternoon.
The dive sites are all within 1 and half hours of the dive centre and are suituable for all levels of qualifications.
Two of my favourites are the Aquarium which is between 12 - 18 meters, here you will find the largest variety of marine life in the area. Second is Zacks Table starting at around 16 meters with huge table corals standing above a sandy floor. Here you might find large groupers, moray eels, stingrays and even guitar sharks.
Just remember drink loads of water you get deydrated very quickly.
