The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? Well now you can come along and find out what it is really like.
Discover Scuba Diving will allow you to try scuba and see if you actually like it. Most Padi Dive Centres offer a version of this program, either in a pool or another body of water. You may choose to try it close to home or even while you’re on holiday.
Whilst its not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you will learn how to use scuba diving equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
The biggest challenge we have as PADI Instructors with the Discover Scuba Diving program is not coaxing students into the water, but coaxing them out when the program is over and this is why many people go on to complete their PADI Open Water diving course.

Prerequisites
- To take Discover Scuba Diving program you must be: At least 10 years old
